Background
Kilkenny County Council wanted to construct 6 infill houses and all associated site works within an existing Local Authority housing estate.
Description of Works
The project comprised of the construction of 6 Local Authority houses. House construction comprised of floor screed, traditional block walls, roof trusses, concrete tiles, PVC doors & windows, wet dash & K Rend plaster finishes.
Internal fit out of houses entailed the fitting of timber floors, kitchens, sanitary ware, wall & floor tiling and décor.
The external works comprised of cobble brick paving to driveways & footpaths, steel gates & railings to front boundaries, erection of palisade fencing, construction of roadways, constructed car parking facilities, installed a high spec sewage treatment plant, the erection of numerous public lights combined with landscaping completed the project.
